Glen: I haved it on my PA12 and love having it. I have two FPV 17.5 amp hour batteries and have never come close to running out of power. You would probably not have any power issues with one of the 17.5 amp hour batteries, but I wanted to be able to run my lights and power pole as well. I bought a “PoleDucer” from “Shut up and Fish” to deploy the transducer. There are several folks that make a similar arms for the transducer or you could build your own if you want. Also, I mounted the black box in front of the square hatch.

Has anyone considered adding a Panoptix to there kayak? Do you have any particulars such as the battery size required? Thank you
