This is the best post I've ever seen! 🤣 How much was the swim bait??
I'd be up to go just for the adventure. When are you thinking?

I was thinking Sunday and maybe Monday. I'm ashamed of how much I paid for that bait, but it was that or never have one at all. Message me if those days work for you, I'm pretty flexible and will be apartment hunting over that way.

Love this lake. Obsessed maybe. I really didn't believe there was anything under five pounds in here until I got a little guy on my third trip. I have consistently caught 5-9 lb fish here. Being able to drive to Firehouse Subs or Walmart is also a plus. But I said I needed a partner, right? Well, I lost something in the water the last time I was there. I spent two years trying to get a swim bait that I finally got. Snapped it off. No problem I say, , I'll get goggles and find it when the sun is high and the bite slows a bit. I ask on a swim bait page what is a good way of finding it and someone points out that if it is hung up, and I accidentally hook my hand while trying to untangle it, that would be pretty bad, so another person with me may be a good idea in case of accidents. It also might help to have someone else there to help eyeball my search method from the boat so I don't backtrack. That's my idea, and either way, the place has never disappointed me with big bass, so it would be cool to have a picture that isn't me trying to take a selfie.
