Lowrance education

I recently bought a Lowrance HDS. But, I am frustrated trying to learn how to use it. It's just the basics I am trying to figure out such as creating structure maps, using Insight Genesis, etc. Any suggestions ?  Thanks

It can be very helpful to hire a guide that does electronic classes on a guided trip. They can really show you a difference and help set up your electronics if you are in a boat. They can help find structure and show you what you are looking at. When I get my new boat, I plan on getting a guide to help set mine up mostlybecause I am changing from Garmin to Hummingbird and they can help with setting things up. Show you fish too.

Clark Rheem, one of the Lowrance professionals, has a very good electronics class on Sam Rayburn.  Clark and I are good friends and I have never seen anyone that has a better understanding of Lowrance technology.

Clark will spend about 3-4 hours with you in a classroom setting and then another 4 hours on the water.  It’s $500, but a good investment.
