Hi Travis,
We do not allow live bait at our properties. The reason is that you greatly increase your odds of having a fish swallow a hook when fishing with live bait. While losing a 1-2 lb bass would not be the end of the world; losing a 8 lb bass would be something we want to prevent.
The exception to this would be live worms for fishing with your kids; targeting bluegill. We are OK with kids fishing with live worms. We want them to catch fish and love the sport as much as we do! However, please always release all bluegill of any size.
Thanks for asking.

Sorry if this has been covered, but I used live worms on my first trip and had someone message me saying you're not supposed to use live bait. I haven't been able to find where it specifies this and what it applies to. Can you catch shad/bluegill at the lake and fish with it? Can you bring live worms? Want to make sure I'm following the rules but also my daughter loves fishing with live bait so trying to see what's possible.
