My dad suprised us with a post Christmas visit.  He loves hunting, fishing and the outdoors, but has never been into chasing ducks.  However, he was game for joining us on this mornings hunt.  We were able to outfit him with warm gear and waders, sort of.  Surprise, surprise the waders had a “slight” leak in the boot. :-)  The action was slow… We did have 2 wigeon enter.  1 wigeon leave.  The wigeon hen was my first wigeon ever, not sure how we missed the drake, but we did.  The best part was having 3 generations in the blind today, me, my dad and my 2 boys.  Very cool to share a duck blind with Pop for the first time.
