Got a super late start. Set up at daylight and had no luck. Wind was out of the southeast. Birds were there but not decoying. Talked to Claude the land owner for quite a while afterwards. Super nice guy. Was working to make the spot better including planting some millet and reworking the dirt. I think a blind on the opposite side of the lake would be ideal.

There was gunfire around us but no luck. But overall a good morning with the dog.
