One duck made a beeline down the middle of the lake at 7:20AM without looking at the spread.  That was the only duck seen until a gadwall arrived while the decoys were being picked up.  It banked away and landed on the other side of the water.  The bird did swim part of the way back to the decoys before stalling out of shooting range and eventually flying away.
