There were plenty of birds flying around. We saw several dozen in total. Temps were good in the upper 30s. The clear sky and lack of wind had the ducks landing all over the lake instead of in one particular area. Admittedly, there might have been something about our decoy set-up that didn't pull them in more actively. We took our birds on passing shots as none of them tried to land in the spread. The morning provided a bag of greenwing teal and ringed-neck ducks.
