  • About half way up the lake, there is a barb wire fence that runs out into the middle of the lake from the West shore.

Clarksville - Alysha Ranch

This 30-acre soil conversation lake was built in the 1950's. This lake may hold the most birds of any lake in the club. The northern 50% of the lake is 2 to 5 feet of water and full of vegetation. Alysha Ranch Lake tends to hold mostly Mallards and Gadwall, with a sprinkling of other puddle ducks. Divers are not common at this property. Birds prefer the shallow North end of the lake, and the SE cove.

There is a duck blind on the East side of the lake, on the edge of the SE cove. You will need to use the provided jon boat to access the blind. No trolling motor, batteries, or paddles are provided, so please be sure to bring your own. You may also use the jon boat to set decoys or retrieve birds if you wish. Please return it back under the big tree by the dock when you are done.

No sense in getting up at 3:00 AM. Bring another member to split the lodging fee, sit by the campfire and sleep in until 5:00 or 6:00.
