Hunting blind located at north east side of the lake near the dam. This wishbone shaped lake has its dam facing the Northeast. The northern arm is a bit more narrow, but both arms are generally fairly shallow with most of the water less than 4 feet. Birds tend to prefer to land either in front of the blind (near the North corner of the dam), or in the Northern arm of the lake. Expect a mixed bag on this lake, with Green-Winged Teal, Gadwall, and Ringnecks being the most common species. There are homes about 300 yards above the lake, so please be respectful when entering the property in the wee hours of the morning and dim your headlights.

Saw a pair and a single at first light and a group of 8 as we were packing the truck – no action.

Saw 5 birds total. 2 killed. I cinnommin teal so that was pretty cool.  hunted 1/5/2026

Slow to start with strong finish.

Didn't see a duck until 7:45… then it was a group and gads, followed by teal and finished the limits off hammering black jacks.
